Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, together with the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, presented to the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, the Greece-Bulgaria Agreement for the Sea To Sea railway link.
It is a project that will give life to the wider region, connecting Thessaloniki, Kavala, Alexandroupolis, Bourgas, Varna, and Rousse.
At the meeting, the President of the European Commission, agreed to support this initiative, releasing funds from the Juncker Package.
Finally, a meeting of technical groups was decided in order for the necessary steps to be taken in the next few weeks.
