Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, met today with Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Ma Kai, at Maximos Mansion. The meeting revealed the very good level of bilateral relations and economic cooperation. Additionally, the high interest of China in investing in Greece was confirmed.
In this context, the acceleration of the Chinese investment program with an emphasis on infrastructure, transport, telecommunications, commerce and the financial sector was discussed. At the same time, the possibilities of increasing and accelerating exports of Greek agro-food products to China were discussed, with the Chinese side responding positively.
