Telephone call with US Vice-President

The Prime Minister stressed the significance of the agreement for stability and co-development in the Balkans.

Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, had a telephone conversation with US Vice-President, Mike Pence, in which the Vice-President congratulated him on the agreement with FYROM and the resolution of the name issue.

In addition, the Prime Minister discussed with the with US Vice President the strengthening of Greek-American economic relations, particularly in view of the Thessaloniki International Fair, in which the honored country will be the USA, as well as Greek-Turkish relations and the role of Turkey in the wider region.
