Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, had a telephone conversation, today, with US Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross.
The US Secretary of Commerce contacted the Prime Minister following his contacts in New York to inform him of the US Treasury’s consent to the EBRD’s management to extend the investment activity in Greece until 2025.
The goal is for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to invest over 2 billion Euros over the next five years, especially in the fields of energy, infrastructure and small and medium-sized businesses.
The Prime Minister thanked the US Secretary of Commerce for his continued interest and constructive response to the effort to strengthen the growth dynamics of the Greek economy.
