On Tuesday afternoon, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a meeting with representatives of international energy companies.
The Prime Minister met with the Marco Alverà, Chief Operating Officer of Italian Snam, with Marcelino Oreja, Chief Executive Officer of Enagás, and Pascal De Buck, Chairman and Management Board Chief Executive Officer of Fluxys.
In the course of the meeting, among other things, the prospects and opportunities opening up after the signing of the agreement on the construction of the EastMed natural gas pipeline were discussed.
Meanwhile, there was investment interest also in other projects of energy infrastructure, and the climate of trust among the three companies, which are shareholders of the Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator (DESFA), was reaffirmed.
