Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis took part in the Video conference with six heads of state of government from around the world, who managed to successfully repel the first wave of the COVID-19 outbreak.
During the Video conference, with the focus on exchanging experiences and best practices, the seven leaders analyzed the measures taken in a timely manner to reduce the spread of the virus, in order to gain time for the health system to cope with crisis and save lives. They also discussed the strategies of each country for the gradual de-escalation of restrictive measures as well as the transition to the new normality.
The Video conference was attended by Sebastian Kurz Chancellor of Austria, Mette Frederiksen Prime Minister of Denmark, Andrej Babiš Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Benjamin Netanyahu Prime Minister of Israel, Scott Morrison Prime Minister of Australia and Jacinda Ardern Prime Minister of New Zealand.
