Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the President of Microsoft, Brad Smith, in New York.
During the meeting it was emphasized that Microsoft investments in Greece are moving forward, in spite of the pandemic, and that the Greek economy has a robust growth trajectory.
Mr Mitsotakis met Brad Smith in January 2020, during the World Economic Forum in Davos. Microsoft later expressed its interest in the Ancient Olympia project, which will possibly be unveiled in Olympia this November.
Microsoft’s major investment for the establishment of Data Centers in Attica is moving forward and construction will start in a few months, while the company’s offices in Greece are reporting one of the highest staffing level increases among all branches worldwide.
