Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with the new Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovachevski.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis congratulated Mr Kovachevski on assuming his duties and reiterated Greece’s support to the European perspective of Western Balkans and North Macedonia, in accordance with the criteria that have been set. The Prime Minister pointed out that this support is directly associated with the full, consistent and bona fide implementation of the Prespa Agreement, which is also part of the integration process.
During their conversation, they ascertained the common will to further reinforce the multifaceted bilateral relations and the bilateral cooperation of the two countries, with emphasis on the economic and commercial sector.
