Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The two leaders discussed the progress of the Greek-Egyptian “GREGY Interconnector” project, the cable that will link Europe’s electricity systems with Africa, and its importance for Europe’s energy security.
They also discussed the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria and the need for immediate support for those affected.
