Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met, at Maximos Mansion, with the EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders

During the meeting, which took place in the framework of a consultation between the European Commission and the Member States, they discussed issues related to the European Commission’s annual Rule of Law Report.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the government is committed to cooperate closely with the European Commission, while he briefed Mr. Reynders on the reforms that have been made and the next steps in the areas of Justice and State reform.

They also discussed the latest developments in Ukraine. Kyriakos Mitsotakis reiterated Greece’s continued support towards Ukraine and underlined that Greece is consistently implementing the EU’s framework of sanctions against Russia for the invasion of Ukraine.

The meeting was attended, on behalf of the Greek government, by the Minister of State George Gerapetritis, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Diplomatic Office Ambassador Anna-Maria Boura and the Deputy Government Spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni.
