Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Prime Minister reiterated Greece’s firm position in support of Ukraine and its right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as Greece’s solidarity towards the Ukrainian people.
He underlined that Greece will continue to stand by Ukraine for as long as necessary, stressing that since the beginning of the Russian invasion it has offered humanitarian and defense support, while it has implemented and continues to implement the European framework of sanctions against Russia.
Finally, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Volodymyr Zelensky exchanged wishes for the Orthodox Easter.
