Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the President of the Republic of Malta, George Vella, during his official visit to Athens.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis pointed out the traditionally good relations between the two countries and underlined the further prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, tourism, shipping, climate change and Renewable Energy Sources.
The Prime Minister and the President of the Republic of Malta also spoke about the cooperation between the two countries on European issues and on common challenges, such as migration, underlining the need to fight the networks of traffickers.
