Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, at Maximos Mansion.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister and the President of Moldova exchanged views on the prospect of strengthening bilateral relations. Kyriakos Mitsotakis reiterated Greece’s support for Moldova’s European perspective, which was also expressed in the Athens Summit Declaration adopted on 21 August by the 11 leaders participating in the informal dinner organised at the initiative of the Prime Minister, in the presence of the leadership of the European institutions.
The Prime Minister also informed Ms Sandu of Greece’s intention to open an embassy in Chisinau in the near future.
