Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, on the sidelines of the Trilateral Summit of Greece – Cyprus – Israel.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the strengthening and deepening of the already excellent bilateral relations in a number of areas, including defence, the economy, tourism and the agri-food sector. Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation between the two countries in civil protection and energy.
The Prime Minister underlined Greece’s key role in the Eastern Mediterranean – Europe energy corridor, both through the infrastructures it is developing and through the interconnection with the Western Balkans and Eastern Europe.
