Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today with the Chair of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank, Claudia Buch, and the Chair of the Single Resolution Board (SRB) Dominique Laboureix, at Maximos Mansion.
During the meeting, they discussed the great progress that has been made as regards the robustness of the Greek banking system in recent years,which as a result is now on a very stable foundation. The prospects for European banking integration, the disinvestment of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) from Greek banks through the attraction of investors and the potential for further use of the financial system to finance the real economy were also discussed.
