Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
During their telephone conversation, the Prime Minister reiterated that Greece will continue to support Ukraine.
Following the decisions of the European Council last December, Kyriakos Mitsotakis reaffirmed Greece’s support for Ukraine’s European path and the convening of an EU-Ukraine Intergovernmental Conference next June, which will mark the official start of Ukraine’s accession negotiations with the EU.
The Prime Minister accepted the official invitation extended to him by Mr Zelenskyy to participate in the Ukraine Peace Summit to be held on 15 and 16 June in Switzerland.
