Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with King Abdullah II of Jordan prior to the opening of the MED9 Summit in Paphos.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s role in the stability of the wider region, for facilitating the delivery of substantial humanitarian aid to Gaza and for its efforts to find a viable solution to the crisis.
They also exchanged views on ways in which the EU and Greece could help in addressing the humanitarian crisis in the region.
